What Is Moonshadow Reiki?
Moonshadow Reiki is my signature certification path. It is rooted in traditional Reiki and shaped by intuitive depth, mentorship, and real integration. This is not one-size-fits-all training. Classes are intentionally small and personalized so the pace honors your energy and your learning style. Rather than memorizing hand positions alone, you will learn to channel Reiki in a way that feels grounded, embodied, and natural. You’ll build trust in what you are actually sensing and experiencing. Moonshadow Reiki creates space for you to deepen your connection to your own intuitive gifts while building a strong energetic foundation. Most students are surprised by how natural it feels and how quickly their confidence grows.
What Makes This Path Different?
Training is offered in a private studio setting, either one-to-one or in very small groups, allowing for direct guidance and meaningful discussion. In addition to foundational Reiki technique, we often explore topics such as energetic sensitivity, the Clairs, working with spiritual guidance, and developing the gifts you already carry. Attunements are approached with care and presence. The focus is on understanding and integration rather than rushing through material. This path is well suited for those who prefer a personalized learning experience over a strictly standardized format.
Lineage & Training
My Reiki foundation includes Usui Reiki, Holy Fire® Reiki, and Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki® at the Master level. I received my Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki® Master training directly from William Lee Rand. I also hold certification in Animal Reiki through ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teachers, along with additional certifications in Crystal Reiki, Sekhmet Reiki, Grief Reiki, Chakra Healing, Reiki Distance Healing, Space Clearing, Akashic Records, and Access Bars. Moonshadow Reiki is rooted in traditional Reiki lineage while allowing space for intuitive development, spiritual awareness, and integration of your natural gifts. All classes are taught in alignment with the foundational Reiki principles that shaped my training, within a small, supportive studio setting focused on clarity, confidence, and embodied understanding.
Certification Levels
Reiki 1
This is the foundation of your training. You will learn the history and principles of Reiki, hand positions for self-treatment and working with others, and how to begin sensing and working with energy consciously. No prior experience is required. Training is offered privately or in small groups. You leave with Reiki I attunement and certification, along with guidance for continued integration.
Reiki ii
Building on Reiki I, you will learn Reiki symbols, distance healing, and expanded energetic awareness. This level offers an opportunity to explore your connection to Reiki with greater depth and clarity. Reiki II is available to students who have completed Level I and are at least 17 years old.
Reiki iii
Reiki III introduces advanced energetic techniques and expanded awareness, with an emphasis on refinement and deeper integration of what you have already learned. This level allows you to strengthen your relationship with Reiki through continued experience, reflection, and embodied understanding. Reiki III is available to Reiki II graduates with a minimum of six months of Reiki experience and integration. Completion of Reiki III is required before progressing to Reiki Master Practitioner.
Reiki Master Practitioner
This certification deepens your relationship with Reiki and introduces the Master symbol. The focus is on embodiment, discernment, and expanded energetic awareness. Rather than adding more techniques, this level emphasizes integration, presence, and a mature understanding of how you work with energy. Reiki Master Practitioner certification does not include teaching certification. Reiki Master is available to Reiki III graduates who have demonstrated integration, consistency, and readiness. Most students allow at least six months between Reiki III and Master training. Final readiness is determined together.
Kids & Teen Reiki i
Ages 12–17 This is an age-appropriate version of Reiki I aligned with the Moonshadow Reiki approach. Students learn the foundations of Reiki, including self-treatment and working with others, in a way that supports their developmental stage. Language and discussion are adapted to meet younger students where they are. The focus is on building awareness, confidence, and responsible use of Reiki in everyday life. Parent or guardian consent is required for all minors. Reiki II is available beginning at age 17 for students who have completed Level I.
What to Expect
Training takes place in a private studio setting, either one-to-one or in a small group. Each class includes Reiki attunements, clear instruction on hand positions and technique, and guided hands-on practice. There is time for questions, discussion, and reflection throughout the day. You remain fully clothed during all practice. The environment is calm, focused, and respectful. Some students notice deep relaxation, emotional release, or heightened awareness during attunements. Others experience subtle shifts. There is no expectation that you feel or experience something specific. You do not need prior experience or intuitive training. You will be guided through each step of the process. Certification is provided upon completion of the class.
Continuing Support
Reiki training does not have to end when class is complete. Students are welcome to return for mentoring sessions, additional practice time, healing sessions, or re-attunements as desired. Some choose to continue deepening their understanding over time. Others integrate what they have learned independently. Both approaches are respected. Support is available, and growth unfolds in your own way.
Who This Is For
Moonshadow Reiki certification is for those who feel drawn to explore energy work more deeply. There is no single right reason to learn Reiki, and there is no one path you have to follow. Some come for personal growth. Some feel called to support family and friends. Others eventually choose to offer Reiki more formally. All of those reasons are welcome here. You may be curious. You may feel quietly called. You may simply want to understand your relationship with energy in a clearer way. There is room for all of it. No prior experience is required. You do not need to identify as intuitive. A genuine interest in learning is enough.

Moonshadow Reiki certification is offered for personal and professional development within the scope of energy work. Completion of certification does not grant a medical license or authorize the practice of healthcare. Students are responsible for operating within their local laws and professional scope of practice.
